Free Eye Screening: Saturday, March 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Dr. Rios of Atlantic Eye Care will be here to provide free eye screenings, which include eye pressure, refraction and physician eye exams, by appointment only.

Layette & Birthing Kits Needed

UMCOR Haiti Relief is now requesting the following: Layette Kits (See display in Narthex for packaging) and birthing kits (complete & packaged in a one gallon sealed plastic bag). To see what each kit contains, check the display list in the Narthex. Remember, only new items in each kit and packaged for transport. Penny will take our kits to the warehouse for distribution.

Early Childhood Advocacy Day

Epworth recently co-sponsored a Forum on Early Childhood Poverty, Health and Education. Around 100 people attended that conference, and several from our congregation. We learned about the great needs of our youngest citizens, many of whom are caught in the web of poverty.
